Maxxis High Roller II EXO reinforced Tire 27.5 x 2.40.  This is NOT the 2.3 casing. There is a significant grip difference between a 2.3 and 2.4.   The 2.4 has 20% more volume and the bigger knobs provide more cornering grip, at a lower pressure. The open and aggressive tread design gives the High Roller II excellent soil penetration and mud clearing ability. A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs. Modified knobs on the shoulder and center improve braking performance.  A faster aggressive tread tire. 2 COMPOUNDS: 60a Maxxpro , Use on rear:  aka "single compound" a long lasting harder compound for longer tread life.  Many want this on the rear because it is faster and longer lasting.  60a refers to the durometer hardness of the rubber. 3C MaxxTerra .  Use on front:  The most durable/grippy compromise.  It does not get any better than this for low pressure front tire setups. These are not "TR" version, the only difference being the inner butyl layer that the TR version has.  These inflate the same as the TR version with a floor pump on tubeless rims, and air retention is great with sealant. Dimensions: 27.5 x .2.4"  (I have found the 2.4 on the front to be much better at cornering than the 2.3) Technologies: 3C MaxxTerra Maxxis 3C Triple Compound mountain technology uses a harder, longer lasting base layer and two progressively softer top layers in order to optimize traction and stability. An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tyres. 3C Maxx Terra is softer and offers more traction than MaxxPro, yet provides better treadwear than many compounds. MaxxPro 60a durometer single (fast) compound for more extreme tread durability.  Preferred by riders who just want longer lasting tires at the expense of some grip, a go-to compound for technical climbers who prefer something that will last longer on the back.  Works great on the front also with lower pressure.   Discontinued and getting hard to find. EXO Protection: An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres.
