MAXXIS HIGH ROLLER II: The Maxxis High Roller II uses an open and aggressive tread design intended to find traction in loose conditions. A large channel between the the center knobs and side knobs provides a looser, drifty feel desired by some riders.
DUAL COMPOUND: Two distinct rubber compounds are used within the tread to offer a balance between rolling resistance and grip.
3C MAXXTERRA: 3C MaxxTerra (3CT) mountain bike tires use a firm base rubber to reduce rolling resistance and progressively softer rubber on outer layers to optimize traction. 3C MaxxTerra is an intermediate triple compound suitable for all-around MTB trail riding.
DOUBLEDOWN: DoubleDown (DD) is a casing option designed for enduro racing and electric mountain bike riding. It merges two layers of lightweight 120 TPI casing material with a butyl sidewall insert, resulting in a robust mountain bike tire that offers enhanced trail feedback compared to a traditional Downhill tires. DoubleDown tires are slightly lighter than their Downhill equivalents, the key distinction is the "trail feel".
TUBELESS READY: Tubeless tires offer advantages like lower pressure for better grip, reduced rolling resistance, and flat prevention. Tubes may be used in tubeless tires, too.
